Dental Health Arlington's SMILES (Sealing Molars Improves the Life of Every Student) program is on a mission to improve children's oral health by providing essential dental sealants to prevent cavities. We focus on students in grades 2–4, especially those from underserved communities at high risk of tooth decay.
Our dedicated dental professionals visit Title 1 schools in Arlington to apply these protective sealants, which are thin coatings placed on the chewing surfaces of molars to prevent decay. Alongside sealant application, we provide fluoride treatments and teach students about proper oral hygiene to ensure lasting dental health.

The SMILES (Sealing Molars Improves the Life of Every Student) program is dedicated to improving the oral health of students in grades 1-4 in Arlington’s Title 1 schools. Our comprehensive preventive program includes dental education, screenings, fluoride treatments, and sealant application to protect children’s teeth from cavities.
