Dental Health Arlington's SMILES (Sealing Molars Improves the Life of Every Student) program is on a mission to improve children's oral health by providing essential dental sealants to prevent cavities. We focus on students in grades 2–4, especially those from underserved communities at high risk of tooth decay.
Our dedicated dental professionals visit Title 1 schools in Arlington to apply these protective sealants, which are thin coatings placed on the chewing surfaces of molars to prevent decay. Alongside sealant application, we provide fluoride treatments and teach students about proper oral hygiene to ensure lasting dental health.

The Mission of Dental Health Arlington is to provide preventive and pain relieving care to under-served residents of Tarrant County and to educate children about proper oral hygiene habits, nutrition and the importance of regular dental care.
Support the SMILES Program and Bring Dental Care to Arlington's Students
The SMILES (Sealing Molars Improves the Life of Every Student) program is dedicated to improving the oral health of students in grades 1-4 in Arlington’s Title 1 schools. Our comprehensive preventive program includes dental education, screenings, fluoride treatments, and sealant application to protect children’s teeth from cavities.
To make this program successful and sustainable, we need your help. Your contributions will directly support the following essential items:

Educational Visuals and Oral Hygiene Kits – including good and bad snack examples, mouth models, large toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, timers, and patient bags.
Here’s how your donation can make a difference:
$25 – Provides a classroom with oral hygiene kits, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, timer, and sticker.
$50 – Covers dental screenings, sealants, and fluoride for 5 children.
$75 – Provides 5 children with an oral hygiene kit, dental screening, sealants, and fluoride.
$100 – Doubles the impact by providing full preventive dental services to 10 children.
$250 – Supports 2 classrooms (50 students) with oral hygiene kits and 1 classroom with all preventive services.
