Our passion for direct patient services grew into a lifesaving organization.
We combined our passion for helping people with our love for horses and it catapulted into one of the top-rated non-profit organizations in the area. We both recognized the void in services for cancer patients without adequate insurance. As a result, we combined our talents and aimed at helping cancer patients who have limited resources.
Our patient outreach and available services has grown exponentially over the years. Together we can get patients from early detection and diagnostic procedures through surgery and treatment. Time is of the essence, especially when dealing with aggressive cancers. Physician requested procedures such as diagnostic mammograms, biopsies, CT and Pet Scans are typically approved within 24 hours. Careity offers free early detection and a critical comprehensive, in-depth program for patients who are diagnosed. Access to our team of physicians for consults and surgery is rapid. Within 48 hours of diagnosis, patients are contacted by a Patient Coordinator
Over 8000 Services were provided in 2025 alone.
Mammograms, diagnostic procedures, biopsies, and surgeries including ports for chemotherapy delivery.
Cancer Navigation - provided by a nurse who is trained to help identify and resolve barriers to care, enabling patients to adhere to care recommendations and thus improve their cancer outcomes.
Dietician Services - provided by a licensed dietitian. Nutritional supplements are also provided to economically challenged patients.
Psychotherapy, Social worker and Chaplain services - offered to cancer patients and their families as they are dealing with many emotional issues stemming from their cancer diagnosis. Depression, anxiety, grief, anger, fear, stress, insomnia and being overwhelmed are addressed.
Patient gas cards - help patients get to and from treatment. Radiology patients sometimes need to travel to and from the clinic on a daily basis for several weeks in a row.
