Healthy Starts Begin With Basic Needs.

Since 2013, Baby Booties Diaper Bank has been helping improve the health and well-being of babies, mothers, families and students across North Texas by providing access to essential hygiene products.

What began as a mission to help babies and families experiencing diaper need has grown into a community-wide effort addressing maternal and infant health, diaper need, and period poverty.

Today, Baby Booties distributes more than 30,000 diapers and 10,000 period products every month to families and individuals experiencing financial hardship. That's more than 40,000 essential products every month through our community programs.

And our impact reaches even further.

Baby Booties also provides 10,000 period products each semester to nurses in 7 North Texas school districts, helping middle- and high-school students access the products they need while at school.

Because no baby should have to go without a clean diaper.

And no student should have to miss class or go without the period products they need.

Since 2013, Baby Booties has distributed more than 3.8 million diapers across North Texas—and our work continues every day.

We purchase diapers at reduced costs through our medical-supply partnership, allowing us to stretch every donated dollar further and provide more essential products to the people who need them most.

Your support helps keep our shelves stocked, our community distributions moving, and our school partnerships supplied.

Because basic needs aren't optional. And dignity shouldn't be either.

Mission

Healthy Starts. Healthy Families. Stronger Communities.

Baby Booties Diaper Bank provides diapers, wipes, and period products to families and individuals experiencing financial hardship across North Texas. We believe every baby deserves a healthy start and every person deserves access to the basic hygiene essentials needed to live with health, dignity, and confidence.

Through monthly community distributions, partnerships with local nonprofits, and school district partnerships, Baby Booties addresses diaper need, maternal and infant health, and period poverty by making essential products available to those who need them most.

Since 2013, Baby Booties has distributed more than 3.8 million diapers and continues to expand its reach as the need for essential hygiene products grows throughout North Texas.

Needs

The Need Is Greater Than Ever

For families already struggling with the rising cost of food, housing, childcare, and healthcare, diapers and other hygiene essentials can become an impossible expense.

Baby Booties distributes more than 30,000 diapers and 10,000 period products every month through our community programs—providing more than 40,000 essential products each month to families and individuals experiencing financial hardship.

Our impact extends into our schools as well. We provide 10,000 period products each semester to 7 North Texas school districts, supplying middle- and high-school nurses so students can access the products they need while at school.

It costs Baby Booties nearly $10,000 each month to replenish the diapers, wipes, period products, and other essentials our community depends on. Because we are able to purchase many of these products at significantly reduced costs through our partnerships, your donation can stretch much further than it would at retail.

Your support helps ensure that essential hygiene products are available when families and students need them most.

Equity Statement

Dignity and Access for Every Family

At Baby Booties Diaper Bank, we believe access to basic hygiene essentials should not depend on a family's income.

Diaper need and hygiene insecurity can place an additional burden on families already facing financial hardship, affecting the health, well-being, and dignity of parents, babies, children, and students. We work to remove one of those barriers by making essential products available at no cost to the people we serve.

We are committed to treating every family and individual we serve with dignity, compassion, and respect. Through community distributions, school partnerships, and collaborations with local organizations, we work to make our programs accessible to the people and communities who need them most.

Every family deserves the opportunity to provide for their children. Every baby deserves a healthy start. And every student deserves the ability to participate fully in school without a lack of basic hygiene products standing in the way.
