CAMPERSHIP FUNDS! We want to send as many high school students and teen moms and their babies as possible to camp next summer for the best week of their lives. Young Life camp is a place of fun and adventure; students are told about a God who created them just as they are, loves them just as they are, and wants a relationship with them JUST AS THEY ARE! It is a place where they can get away from the pressures of life and BE A KID! The downside is that camp is expensive and the majority of students in our city cannot afford to go without financial help. We want to be able to say YES to as many kids as we can who want to go to camp despite the cost. Will you help us get them there? Our goal is to take 130, and the cost is $820 per student, and that does not include transportation.
We are "local missionaries" in Fort Worth who want to introduce adolescents, young adults, and teen moms to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Our ministry in Tarrant County is active at 5 public high schools and TCU. Our volunteer leaders attend regular training and mentorship from our staff and connect with kids every week.
