Partnering to Protect White Rock Lake Park
White Rock Lake Park is a true Dallas treasure, welcoming over 2 million visitors a year to enjoy its 1,015 acre lake, 9 miles of trails, playgrounds, rental facilities and dog park. However, maintaining a space this loved is a massive job, and the City of Dallas Park Department's budget simply can’t keep up alone.
The White Rock Lake Conservancy partners with the Park Department to identify needs and raise the private funds necessary to keep our park beautiful for years to come. Thanks to community support, our past projects include:
Planting Trees
New Water fountains
Renovating the historic Stone Tables picnic area, pavilion, lily pond and restrooms.
Funding downcast lighting and
E-bikes for the park's police patrol.
Designing a new natural playground (currently on hold to safely protect our local bald eagles!).
By working hand-in-hand with city staff, we ensure your donations go directly toward vital improvements that protect the integrity of the lake we all love.
It's Your Lake. Give a Buck!
