The Warrior Connection

The Warrior Connection has been operating since 2010, and to date has never lost a Veteran to suicide after going through one of our programs.  We offer holistic residential retreats to prevent Veteran suicide, repair family relationship, and provide support related to Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST).  The Warrior Connection is 1 of 3 organizations in the entire country that offer specialized programming related to Military Sexual Trauma (MST) for both male and female Veterans.  

We serve Veterans nationwide and operate the retreats at the Young County Warrior Ranch in Graham, Texas.   We have served more than 1,000 Veterans and Spouses to date and have more than 600 waitlisted – there is no shortage of demand.  

Veterans who suffer from MST are usually sexually assaulted by their superior officer, making reporting the attacks, and stopping them almost impossible.  This is why most women and men who suffer from MST bottle up their emotions and never deal with the trauma they were forced to endure without any support or protection. Consequently, they live a life of shame and fear sometimes falling into drug abuse or alcoholism to slow the pain of the trauma - and some even commit suicide to escape the pain. 

Veterans who suffer from PTS often battle a perpetual guilt and inability to relate to the civilian world, making it impossible for them to hold down a job or maintain a productive life.  They may never become independent or able to integrate into civilian life. Many lose their families due to drug abuse and alcoholism or commit suicide.  

The Warrior Connection serves these Veterans and helps them overcome the dark reality in which they live to see the world in a new way, finding hope in their future instead of despair.
