Our mission is to help heal and empower female survivors of physical violence and sexual abuse. We provide Outreach, Art, Support, Impact, and Safety for survivors. Through a safe supportive environment, we provide expressive programs, group therapy, community support groups, education awareness, and resources for survivors.
Our programs create a haven for therapeutic release and support from other trauma survivors. Expressive Art Programs and Art Therapy have been proven to reduce symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, C-PTSD, and PTSD in survivors of sexual abuse and violence. Our target populations include underserved women and children in the Grapevine community and surrounding Dallas Fort Worth areas.
Why We're Needed:
1 in 2 women in the United States will experience some form of sexual assault in their lifetime.
1 in 3 women have experienced domestic violence.
1 in 6 women are the victims of rape or attempted rape.
94% of female rape victims experience symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
33% of female rape survivors contemplate suicide.

Mission
Our mission is to help heal and empower female survivors of physical violence and sexual abuse. We provide Outreach, Art, Support, Impact, and Safety for survivors. Through a safe supportive environment, we provide expressive programs, group therapy, community support groups, education awareness, and resources for survivors.
Needs
We are in need of funding for our Art Therapy Programs. Each 6 week program costs $3,000 to serve 15 clients. This amount covers the Art Therapist's salary and prep time, supplies, and a safe undisclosed venue location.
