The Blocking Hunger Foundation provides support to inner-city and low-income children throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex who struggle with hunger.
It only costs $2.00 to feed a child for an entire day!
The Blocking Hunger Foundation was founded in 2017 as a direct way to fight the childhood hunger crisis in Dallas and surrounding communities. Children struggling to eat are more likely to have problems in school and other social situations. Our foundation focuses on addressing childhood hunger to ensure that each child has the opportunity to grow into a thriving adult.
Our Travis’ Pantries and Nourish2Flourish community outreach programs provide meals to children in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that face food insecurity. When children are in school, they depend on the free meals the school provides, our Travis' Pantries ensure that children have food to take home with them for dinner. Our Nourish2Flourish programs provide meals during extended breaks from school.
