Our Mission and Vision

Together We Thrive exists to champion the potential of every youth in North Texas. Through certified Life Coaches, we provide consistent, one-on-one support for middle and high school students in the safe haven of their school - walking alongside them as they navigate trauma, reclaim their identity, and move from surviving to thriving. 

Our vision is to positively influence youth across North Texas through one-on-one relationships with consistent, positive adults. It is through these relationships that we will transform lives that transform communities.

The Need in North Texas

Across North Texas, thousands of middle and high school students face challenges that put their futures at risk. In Dallas ISD, nearly 90% of students are economically disadvantaged, 21.4% experience chronic absenteeism, and many are identified as at risk of dropping out due to factors such as homelessness, foster care involvement, and academic struggles. Additionally, Every Texan reports that 1 in 5 youth experiences a mental, emotional, developmental, or behavioral challenge.

Behind every statistic is a young person who needs a consistent, caring adult. Together We Thrive meets that need by connecting youth with certified Life Coaches who provide guidance, build resilience, teach skills, and inspire hope for a brighter future!

Our Approach

Our certified Life Coaches create lasting impact by building consistent, trusted relationships with the young people they serve. Through a flexible, personalized approach, they meet youth where they are, responding to the unique needs of each individual and the communities we serve. By providing guidance, encouragement, and practical support, our team helps youth build confidence, strengthen resilience, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

We provide consistent, high quality support throughout the year. We adapt our services to meet the changing needs of students, schools, and communities throughout the year by providing a variety of Life Coaching models.

Our Work in North Texas

Our Life Coaches serve in middle schools, high schools, and alternative education campuses across North Texas. We work with youth, families, and staff to provide one-on-one and group meetings, Saturday School, and summer camps. We are a consistent influence - encouraging and equipping youth to not only set goals, but take the steps to achieve them. Youth in our program gain the support and skills they need to go from barely surviving to thriving. Youth in our program have a 100% success rate in graduating or advancing to the next grade!

Youth Story: Meet AZ

AZ is a young man with more than grit and determination than most people you will ever meet. When we first met AZ, he was experiencing homelessness. This lack of stability challenged him in many ways, but he never stopped working towards his goals. With the support of his Life Coach team, AZ was able to graduate high school, go to college, play football, and made the Dean’s list! If you met him, he would tell you it’s because of the consistent support from Together We Thrive that he is where he is today!
