Thrifted It Resale and Donation Center started with an idea to provide an eclectic thrift/resale experience and to be of service, specifically to those still in active addiction and those seeking recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Recovery is very near and dear to our hearts, as we are both recovered for over 4 years. We want to give back to the programs and facilities that paved the way for our recovery. We know how hard it can be to get clean and sober, and the financial costs of getting the help that is so desperately needed. Our main mission at Thrifted It is to provide scholarships to those seeking treatment and a recovered life. Admission into these programs can be a life-or-death errand, but recovery should be - AND IS - available to those still-suffering addicts who truly want a new way of life!
We also want to provide relief for families and individuals in need of furniture, clothes, housewares, etc., and even financial relief. Thrifted It is a safe haven and a beacon of hope for all.
We hope you will consider participating in our Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, September 24th from 12 pm to 4 pm at our store in Justin, TX. The celebration also aligns with North Texas Giving Day on Thursday, September 22nd - an online giving event. Every dollar raised will impact lives of those still in the chains of addiction. It will enable us to provide scholarships, removing the financial barrier for those seeking recovery. It will help those trapped in the cycle of addiction and bring hope to their families and loved ones.
We hope you will give this request careful consideration as we launch Thrifted It's 501(c)3 nonprofit status. Our mission is steadfast - trying to make the world a better place. Our need for support is significant so we hope you consider sharing your blessings and resources with those that need it most.

We provide scholarships for those individuals that are desperate to change their lives, but do not have the financial means or support. This includes all avenues of being of service to the recovery community. Our passion is to stop the cycle of addiction for as many as we can, as well as provide a place of hope and service in our community.
Donations of all kinds, including furniture, clothing, toys, home goods, etc that we can offer in our store front for highly discounted resale, as well as offering free services for those in various recovery programs. We donate clothing, furniture, baby items, etc to individuals, churches and families in need. We filter cash donations in the form of scholarships for entry to treatment facilities and sober living homes for those seeking a real, life change, free from the chains of addiction.
