Trinity Park Conservancy is dedicated to stewarding Dallas' largest public green space: the 10,000 acres of the Trinity River Corridor. Believing that the River is the natural gathering place for all Dallas residents, the Conservancy is committed to bringing people together to share their ideas, learn more about the possibilities and habitat of the area, and to assist in making it a more accessible space.
The Conservancy was selected in 2018 by the City of Dallas to design, construct and maintain the future Harold Simmons Park in a private/public partnership. Join us to be part of the community conversation throughout the Park design + development process!
The Trinity Park Conservancy champions the transformation of the Trinity River to become the heart of Dallas. With the community, we design public spaces that unite us, that enrich people's lives through access to nature, that create economic development opportunities, and that inspire protection for the river ecosystems in this shared natural treasure.
For too long the Trinity River has been a dividing line through Dallas, framed by levees and infrastructure that keep us from enjoying the nature in the heart of our city. Let's re-discover our city's waterfront!
We need your help to create conservation programs, community resources and engagement, and Harold Simmons Park! Your donation will:
-- support activities around the river to help folks imagine the possibilities,
-- convene community resources so that the river remains a place for everyone, and
-- build a 250-acre destination in the heart of Dallas.
Truly, your gift will benefit millions of people per year!
Every dollar you give will make our city healthier and more vibrant. Join us today to stay up-to-date on all the great things happening.
Community is at the heart of our mission and essential to the success of Harold Simmons Park—a place designed to bring people together in a city where the river has long represented division. Our vision is for Harold Simmons Park to be a space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
We believe that every person—regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, health, ability, or background—deserves respect, inclusion, and the chance to fully participate in all aspects of civic and economic life. Harold Simmons Park is a place where everyone should feel welcome, valued, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
