Our organization was established July 1, 2008, Wanda Bennett, the President of the Association, also the organizer' who had a vision to bring us together again for a good cause. Thank you.
In 2009, the Organization was issued a Certificate of Formation Nonprofit Corporation file number by the State of Texas, making us a legitimate nonprofit Association. Then in 2010 we submitted an application to the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service for the 501(c)(3) status, making us eligible to receive donations for charities in the name of SPAAA, in January of 2011 we were awarded our letter and number for that purpose. To all the members who continued to be a part of this fine organization we say THANK YOU for your staying faithful!
Our main goal at St Peters Academy Alumni and Associates is to provide scholarships for inner-city high school graduates.
The mission of the former students of Saint Peter's Academy, Dallas, Texas, is to stimulate continued interest in the purpose of education, charity work and to preserve the name and memories of St. Peter's Academy. This association is organized within the meaning of section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act.
We're needing to increase our finances in order to assist more high school graduating students in 2024. Also, to continue supporting the Allstar Youths Organization as well as Union Gospel Mission just to name a few.
