Our Christ-centered program has been serving Denton County for over 45 years. We are affiliated with St. Paul Lutheran Church and are blessed to be able to use their facilities for our school. St. Paul's supports us in many ways, with church members volunteering for many tasks like playground maintenance and bus driving. What makes us unique from other early childhood development centers is our Christian orientation, with weekly chapel services conducted by Pastor Russ and DCE Ron and music lessons by Mrs. Rasch. We are family-oriented and have 2nd and 3rd generations enrolled in our program. It means a lot to us that parents, who went through our program, think so much of it as to have their own children enrolled. We never forget our students and their families.

Our Needs

As you might expect, our children love playtime, especially when we can go out to the playground.  The American Academy of Pediatrics considers recess an essential part of a child's day. This time allows children to rest their minds, play with others, practice socialization, exercise and prepare themselves for the rest of the day.  We like providing the children with various toys to help them engage and enjoy their recess time better.  However, with daily playtime and the number of children playing with the items each day, they do wear out, and ours are in need of replacement.  We want to use funding this year to replenish our toys and ensure the children have various toys to keep them entertained and active.

Mission

St. Paul Christian Learning Center exists as a childcare/preschool and after school care providing the surrounding communities in which we operate with a nurturing environment that is centered on teaching and developing social and educational skills to all children in a learning and caring Christian environment. Our aim is to give quality care while stimulating young minds.

Needs

In order to provide quality care and learning experiences, we are continuously looking for, and updating, our curriculum and playground materials. We have made multiple updates and repairs to our playground areas this year, using much of our playground funds. Donations received will be used to purchase new toys and materials for the learning center

Equity Statement

We accept age appropriate children without regard of race, gender, creed or socioeconomic status.
