Simply Grace

Simply Grace is an accredited and certified non-profit organization for women looking to achieve long term recovery through accountability and structure at an affordable rate. Simply Grace was created in 2011 to help women recovering from substance use disorder, by women with long term sobriety. We believe that our experience can benefit others. We know that addiction steals so much from our lives and by the time we are ready to stop, we are not left with much. 

Simply Grace gives all women a chance to recover. The structure teaches the women how to become self sufficient upon graduating, then offers alumni events to keep them connected. Not only will they learn basic living skills and receive counseling with a licensed therapist, they get to experience fun in sobriety with all the connections made through the community we have built with 5 houses and an IOP. Every year we have amazing events for the women to enjoy (camping, yoga retreat, comedy show, talent show, etc.)

Because we offer so much at an affordable rate, we must always be reaching out for donations and grants. With this support we are able to maintain our houses and provide scholarships, supplies, events, therapy, on site house managers, and more.

We appreciate any and all help that is received and the women in our programs appreciate it the most.

Our Needs

We are always looking to make our program more accessible to those that need us. A majority of our housing is based inside the DFW area. Many people coming out of in patient treatment cannot afford to live in recovery housing yet. Your contributions can help scholarship a women so she can move in and begin her new life. We

Simply Grace offers a mommy and me house for women with children ages 2-12. 

Imagine the destruction that occurs when a family is torn apart. A mother has to leave her children to go to treatment to get help. The women gets well and comes to sober living to adjust to her new way of life, to learn how to gain coping skills to survive and thrive without drinking or using drugs as a crutch or numbing agent. She's reunited with her child in a safe and drug/alcohol free environment. They learn how to navigate a new schedule, and a peaceful environment to heal from their past pain together. They get support of other women in recovery and learn how to ask for help. They grow, they heal, and the family can be built on a new foundation. This is Simply Grace-mommy and me. home. Where women can live with their children and learn how to build a new life and a new future.

Intensive Outpatient Program-We specialize in working with chemically dependent adult women. Our mission is to improve their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health through an integrated system of group and individual counseling services.

We offer a wide range of services including 12-step facilitation, experiential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, dialectical behavior therapy and group therapy.

Our goal is to empower them to gain emotional and physical sobriety through development of healthy relationships, feeling and coping with emotions, reconnecting with themselves, their family, and their community, learning to write their own story for their future, developing techniques to be fully present and accepting of the moment, uncovering their true self so that they can become who they authentically are and want to be, developing tools to create a life worth living, and discovering new and better ways to cope with life’s problems. 

Our thrift store further facilitates meeting the needs of our community while providing an affordable, quality, & empowering shopping experience. Our hope is that this space will provide job skills training and create a community atmosphere as well as volunteer opportunities. Not your ordinary thrift store, upscale boutique and vintage items with a sprinkle of current style and flare. Something for everyone!
