Massage Therapy for Cancer Patients. It's that simple. At Shine Therapy, we are dedicated to providing nurturing massage and lymphatic therapy designed specifically for cancer patients, especially those who are uninsured, underinsured or low income.

Shine Therapy provides more than just a massage. Your comfort is our utmost priority. Our trained therapists work with each client's specific needs to provide you with the most comfortable and therapeutic massage possible. Shine Therapists can perform soft tissue manipulation when appropriate to aid recovery and educate you in self-care to better manage lymphedema. We care about your emotional health as well as physical comfort. We can share information about classes and programs in the cancer care community, including nutrition, exercise, and support. At Shine Therapy, our goal is to help treat you as a whole person to get the shine back in your life.

Our Needs

We are in need of funding to assist the growing number of clients going through a cancer journey -- many whose income is two times below the Federal Poverty guidelines. Based on Shine's core mission of providing oncology massage services to the under-served in the community, our goal is always to provide services to all cancer patients who meet our criteria. At this time, over 9,000 individuals in our region may benefit our services, and we do not want to turn anyone away who does not have the ability to pay or make a donation. Cancer didn't stop once the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. Our clients are not able to give as much or as often towards their own massage. Shine Therapy needs your donation to give individuals dealing with the ill effects that cancer treatment has on the body and the soul the healing gift of oncology focused massage therapy.
