$10,000 Goal

As one of the top 2 Middle Schools in Dallas ISD, and number 3 in all of Texas, we don’t lack ability, enthusiasm or willingness to excel.

What we do lack, however, is sufficient funding to offer our young scholars the opportunities they crave in every possible area. In fact, as a Title I school, we often need to raise funds to cover necessities that DISD doesn’t.

To help provide the services, programming and extracurricular excitement that our young scholars deserve, PTO steps in to help fill the gap. Every penny that is donated to STAG PTO benefits the school.

Spending needs and requests are constantly shifting depending on priorities, and time of year.

In the past, STAG PTO funds have been used for:

-In-kind donations to STAG

-School website and communication tools

-Community-engaging events, such as our Fall Festival, Spring Fling and monthly coffees with the Principal

-Volunteer Service Awards

-8th grade promotion celebration activities

-Teacher Appreciation meals and gifts

-Teacher professional development

-Student Programs and Event

Mission

Our motto, “Achieving with effort, excelling with persistence”, is the understanding that praising hard work and effort instills a growth mindset, resulting in achievement regardless of circumstances.

Needs

Since this is our first year participating in North Texas Giving Day, we have set a target of $10,000. While this number will be significantly lower than many of our peer campuses, it is an enormous figure for us. Achieving our goal will be an enormous blessing to our student.

Equity Statement

To develop today’s high achieving talented and gifted dual language scholars, in an excelling 21st century educational platform, comprised of rigorous and global academic and extracurricular programs.
