ReflectUS aims to help women understand the current state of representation where they live. In doing so, we hope to not only inspire, but also guide women through the process of running for office.
Mission
ReflectUS is a nonpartisan coalition working to increase the number of women in office and achieve equal representation across the racial, ideological, ethnic, and geographic spectrum in the United States.
ReflectUS Dallas works with community, elected, and appointed leaders throughout Dallas County to increase the number of women running for, getting elected, and being appointed to political office. Through our ReflectUS Dallas Leadership Council, we organize trainings, networking opportunities, workshops, seminars, and other events aimed at encouraging and supporting women as they seek office. Of the 31 cities and towns in Dallas County, more than half have zero or just one woman on their elected city councils.
