Our mission is to provide unwavering support to our athletes, coaches, and the broader track and field community by promoting the values of dedication, teamwork, and personal growth.
The Cross Country/Track and Field Booster Club plays a crucial role in supporting and funding various aspects of a Plano East track and field program. Below are some of financial needs that our booster club has.
Equipment and Gear: Track and field requires various types of equipment and gear, including uniforms, shoes, starting blocks, hurdles, javelins, shot puts, discuses, and more. The booster club may need to raise funds to purchase and maintain this equipment.
*Travel Expenses: If the track and field team participates in away meets or competitions, the booster club may need to cover travel expenses such as transportation, lodging, and meals.
*Uniforms and Apparel: In addition to initial uniform purchases, the booster club may need to fund replacements and updates to uniforms and apparel.
*Safety Equipment: Investing in safety equipment like first aid kits, defibrillators, or AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) is vital for athlete safety.
*Miscellaneous Expenses: There can be unforeseen expenses that crop up during the season, so having a financial cushion for unexpected costs is wise.*
