Panther City Artists was established by Sara Hiett in 2019. After 15 years of teaching art in FWISD and seeing firsthand how art-making transformed her students and their families, Sara recognized the need for a more accessible art community in Fort Worth.
Since June 2020, we have been collaborating with schools, churches, non-profits, and local businesses to advance our mission of enriching lives through art. We are committed to offering a range of accessible opportunities, including collaborative murals, diverse classes, multiple camps, and other innovative experiences for the community.
At Panther City Artists, EVERYONE is an Artist.
Every great art classroom has one thing in common: a sink. This year, your support on North Texas Giving Day helps us add this vital tool to our studio. With it, we can introduce more ceramics, painting, and mixed-media workshops—giving kids and adults alike the full art-making experience they deserve.
Our mission is to establish a community where all citizens of Fort Worth have an opportunity to create art to enrich their lives and that of others.
Help us expand our clay programs!
A slab roller would allow Panther City Artists to offer more hands-on ceramics classes and community workshops. This essential piece of equipment makes it easier for students of all ages to create consistent clay slabs for tiles, reliefs, vessels, and other projects. Your gift would help us expand access to ceramics and provide more creative opportunities for our Fort Worth community.
Panther City Artists strives to provide a space for ALL Fort Worth citizens, regardless of socioeconomic status, disability, race, gender, or religion, to learn and grow through an art experience of creation, discovery, and collaboration.
