Provide open-ended play opportunities to families living in play deserts in Tarrant County. We visit low-income apartment complexes, shelters, and childcare centers so that children can learn through open-ended play.
We are a new organization and need funding to expand our program to more families! Funding will be used to hire additional staff and purchase pop-up play materials to increase our reach and impact.
We serve all children living in play deserts in Tarrant County or who have experienced traumatic situations and especially need the benefits of open-ended play. We focus on serving marginalized and under-resourced communities, as children with black and brown skin are statistically less likely to have access to nature play spaces.
