Operation Once in a Lifetime

A nonprofit organization

Operation Once in a Lifetime’s mission is to make the dreams of U.S. Soldiers and their families come true by providing free financial and morale support to U.S Service members, their families and veterans regardless of rank, deployment, physical condition or branch or service.

You serve, you qualify.

Operation Once in a lifetime is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created to make the dreams of U.S. soldiers come true. The dream of a soldier is to come home alive, unwounded, to train safe, to love his country, his unit and his family. However being a soldier is not easy; it is filled with hardship, not just physically or emotionally, but financially.

Operation Once in a Lifetime was created by a soldier to help other soldiers; a soldier knows what a soldier needs and a soldier knows what a soldier does not need. A soldier does not need to worry about providing beds for his kids, worrying if his electricity will still be on when he goes home or if his house will be foreclosed on when serving his/her country. A soldier needs a program that will provide free financial assistance regardless of his rank, race, branch of service, physical condition or his deployment status. A soldier needs a program that can help make a life altering contribution when he is in his/her greatest need; Operation Once in a Lifetime is that program.

Operation Once in  a Lifetime helps every soldier for every cause; wounded, unwounded, deployed, nondeployed, all ranks and all branches of the United States Armed Forces, you serve, you qualify.

Soldiers do not have nine to five jobs, nine to five jobs are replaced by year long deployments.  A soldier does not have another day at the office, a day at the office for a soldier may result in a combat mission, gun fire and a friend killed in action.

Every contribution will go to helping a soldier and their families, whether paying a soldiers electric bill, car payment or flying a soldier home, we will be there when soldiers need us most, because they are there when we need them most.

Operation Once in a Lifetime is not a war time organization; we are a soldier’s organization. An organization created to last, as long as soldiers are in need. Our promise to our soldiers, is regardless of wartime or peacetime we will be here fighting for you as you fight for us.

Operation Once in a Lifetime, where helping soldiers and their families is about helping soldiers and their families.

Mission

Operation Once in a Lifetime’s mission is to make the dreams of our U.S. Service Members and their families come true by providing once in a lifetime experiences for our military as well as emergency financial assistance through our multiple programs.

Our programs are open to all U.S Service Members, their families and Veterans who have served our country honorably regardless of rank, deployment, physical condition or branch or service.

You serve, you qualify.

Needs

Operation Once in a Lifetime is currently raising funds for our fourth annual “Operation Closure” Trip to Arlington National Cemetery. Serving in the military can be tough, and one of the toughest things about serving in the military is when you lose one of your fellow soldiers. Many people don’t understand that when you lose one of your brothers/sisters in war, the body is sent back home, the burial is back home, the funeral is back home, but you are still deployed.

So many Veterans have lost friends and have never had that closure that they long for as they have never been given the opportunity to visit Arlington National Cemetery to visit the resting spot of their fallen comrades.

Help Operation Once in a Lifetime fulfill one of our biggest endeavors we take on annually as we try and bring 50-60 Veterans from WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Dessert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan to Arlington National Cemetery for their very first time.

We have over 60 Veterans and Active Duty Service Members already signed up wanting to go on our 6th Annual Closer Trip in July 2024 and many more e-mailing daily. For every $750 donation, you can help sponsor one Veteran to visit Arlington National Cemetery and help them pay their respects to their fallen brothers.

Watch the video below of one of our previous Closure Trips and the impact your support makes.

Equity Statement

Operation Once in a Lifetime was created by soldier for soldier! When we serve we do not see color, sex or ethnicity; we just see fellow brothers & sisters in arms willing to lay down their lives for others. Operation Once in a Lifetime is operated with the same morales and integrity as if we are still serving. We have always been and will be about equality and diversity when it comes to supporting those that serve our nation.
