If you're seeking support or guidance on managing mental health challenges, whether for yourself or a loved one. Please know, you're not alone in this journey. At NAMI North Texas, we recognize the importance of having a supportive community to lean on during difficult times.

We're here to walk alongside you and your family, supporting and enriching your unique path towards mental wellness. Our peer-led programs offer free education, skills training, and invaluable support. Dedicated volunteers from our community passionately lead these initiatives, making a meaningful impact every step of the way.

But beyond offering services, we're dedicated to fostering a community—a community where mental health is openly discussed, stigma is dismantled, and support is readily available to ALL. Because we believe everyone deserves access to the resources they need to thrive.

So, we invite you to join our movement. Together, let's strive towards creating a stronger, more compassionate community for mental health support in North Texas.

Giving Activity

NAMI North Texas is a grassroots organization that provides education, support, advocacy, and public awareness to improve the lives of people living with mental health conditions and their family members.

NAMI North Texas empowers North Texans through our ongoing education, support, advocacy and awareness initiatives. We envision a stigma-free, supportive community where recovery is achievable and mental health services are accessible by all.

Community - We cultivate a community of inclusion, value and trust.

Authenticity - We pledge transparency, genuineness, and fairness in our service to the community.

Respect - We honor each person and their recovery journey.

Empowerment - We uphold a standard of excellence in our efforts to inspire hope and strength in the hearts of every North Texan.

1 in 5 adults America experience a mental health condition.

1 in 6 youths in America experience a mental health condition.

To address this, NAMI North Texas provides free programs for individuals living with mental health conditions and for family members.

Donations will be used to recruit and train volunteers, facilitate our programs, and provide materials at no cost to participants. In addition to our core services, we are raising funds to enhance our existing programs and foster innovative new initiatives, allowing us to better serve underrepresented communities, at-risk youth, individuals with language barriers, and our first responder community.

If you are unable to contribute money but have the time, please consider becoming a volunteer with us! As a volunteer you will have the to opportunity to present programs to educate and inform the North Texas community, peer-led education courses, presentations to youth, lead support groups, help plan special events, table at community events, and even work in the office with us doing clerical work or helping man our warmline!
