Ministry in the Middle is a discipleship resource that walks with women so they can grow “in the middle” of life’s transitional situations by coming to know and understand Jesus Christ.
Ministry In The Middle is raising funds to continually purchase furniture and household goods for women in need. Our goal is to also secure and maintain a property for our housing program, which will give us the flexibility of providing housing and life on life discipleship for up to eight women at a time.
Additionally, we are in need of:
1. Funding to build the Ministry In The Middle transitional living facility.
2. Funding to provide scholarships and book vouchers for women in need.
3. Funding for support staff, including a part-time administrative assistant and interns.
4. Funding to run Ministry in the Middle programs
5. Furniture and supplies related to hosting women in temporary housing spaces.
We believe that ministry makes the difference in empowering women to reach their fullest potential. Though we do not impose our Christian beliefs on those seeking our assistance, we consistently apply Christian values to our model of operations. These values enable us to walk with all women, regardless of race:
Love: It is our responsibility as Christians to model the love of Christ by loving our neighbors whole-heartedly in tangible ways. This means sharing our resources to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of others.
Service: We remain in a posture to be ready and available to serve women in transitional life situations and share our resources with them.
Fairness: We treat everyone—regardless of background, race, or socioeconomic status—with dignity and respect. We offer equal opportunity for women to share in our resources.
Discipleship: Building on our beliefs and core values, we teach other women so that they build up themselves and their families in wisdom and understanding.
