Luminosity Theatre Center’s mission is to entertain, enrich, and educate the southern Dallas-Ft. Worth community through first rate theatrical productions and exceptional theatrical training and education for aspiring artists.
Luminosity Theatre Center is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
The purpose of Luminosity Theatre Center is organized exclusively for the following purposes: theatrical, literary, and/or educational purposes, as specified in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, and shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on by a corporation exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
Furthermore, Luminosity Theatre Center strives to enhance the quality of life in the southern Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex (i.e., Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Kennedale, et.al.) by providing quality theatre experiences for the residents of Tarrant County and providing for the training and education of actors, directors and others involved in theatre productions and by providing an opportunity to demonstrate and improve their skills by participating in theatrical productions.
Luminosity Theatre Center's vision to bring quality theatre to the community would not be possible without the support of our donors. It takes a lot to produce our theatrical productions not only physically, but also monetarily.
Any funds received are used directly for our productions and cover costs including licensing, music, costumes, props, set materials, lighting, sound, printed programs, concessions, etc.
The costs associated with each production are $5,000-$7,500 for each play, and $12,000-$15,000 for each musical.
