LBWDC's mission is to serve the needs of low birth weight infants from birth to age five years and their disadvantaged parents, and to serve women at risk for preterm birth. It has always been the position of the center to provide services to any NICU graduate, preterm or full term. or disadvantaged pregnant mothers and fathers at risk for preterm birth who are homeless and in difficult social situations.
