$10,000 Goal

The IMPACT Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded to help the Arlington residents and to help the East Arlington neighborhood reach its full potential. Many people in East Arlington have limited resources. They live in Arlington's most densely populated district, which is also its poorest sector, where there is a wealth gap with black and brown families. By forming strategic alliances, starting a social enterprise, and building a multidimensional community center, we will achieve our goals of promoting public health, economic empowerment, educational advancement, and civic involvement.

The IMPACT Center will mostly be funded by hosting sporting events at a newly renovated facility that can serve as Arlington's New Sports Complex. The venue consists of 3 high school basketball courts and 1 NBA court, a workout, training, and a weightlifting zone located on an indoor turf area. Top-tier AAU tournaments, volleyball competitions, and boxing contests will all take place at the venue.

Mission

At the IMPACT Center, we are committed to transforming East Arlington by Inspiring Minds, Promoting advocacy, and Community Transformation. Through collaborative partnerships with other organizations, we provide essential services in economics, education, youth advocacy, health and wellness, and civic engagement. Our 501(c)3 non-profit organization empowers local residents to achieve their full potential, and together, we create a stronger, more vibrant community.

Needs

Our community faces critical needs in both financial literacy education and physical wellness. Many individuals, particularly low-income families, single parents, and underserved populations, lack the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed financial decisions and build a secure future. Additionally, the health and well-being of our community members are equally important. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to facilities or equipment for physical fitness.

Through our comprehensive approach, we aim to bridge these gaps. Our financial literacy program provides accessible, culturally relevant education that equips individuals with essential financial skills, enabling them to achieve financial stability, overcome economic challenges, and create a better future for themselves and their families.

In addition to financial literacy, we recognize the importance of physical fitness for overall well-being. Many in our community lack access to suitable exercise equipment and facilities. We believe that by addressing both financial education and physical wellness, we can empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Your support will help us create and expand our program's reach, providing crucial financial education and access to a well-equipped weight room for those who need it most. With your generosity and contributions, we can empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed financial decisions, improve their physical health, break the cycle of poverty, and create a brighter and healthier future. Together, we can transform lives and strengthen our community.

Equity Statement

At the IMPACT Center, we are committed to equity and inclusivity in all aspects of our work. We recognize and value the diversity of individuals and communities we serve, including their unique experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. We strive to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone has equal access to opportunities, resources, and support.
