$5,000 Goal

iHOPE Ministries' Blue Cord Project is a multi-phased effort focused on mobilizing “everyday” Christian women to be authentic Christian witnesses across cultures in daily life. We do that by coming alongside the church with impactful, practical training and media resources that change lives.

WHY THE BLUE CORD?

God has brought people from the world's least-reached nations to live among us. They don't know about salvation in Jesus. Meanwhile, most everyday Christian women lack the desire or skills to tell them.

PHASE 1: BLUE CORD IMPACT

The Blue Cord Project is changing lives. Participants go on to be authentic Christian witnesses among the many immigrants, refugees, and international students in North Texas. Every day we hear life-changing Blue Cord impact stories like this:

  • A Blue Cord study participant recently led an Afghan Muslim refugee to Christ.
  • Another was emboldened to start a Bible study with her Hindu immigrant neighbor.
  • Another shared the Gospel with two Buddhist immigrants, who later accepted Christ.

Since launching The Blue Cord project last year, iHOPE Ministries' partners have impacted cross-cultural outreach like this through the following Blue Cord resources:

  • 4,761 Texas Blue Cord Podcast downloads (17,000+ total in over 100 nations.)
  • 219 women attended the first Texas Blue Cord Women's Conference
  • 30 women road-tested the first Blue Cord group study. They went on to launch more groups, who started more groups, and so on.
  • Today, North Texas Blue Cord leaders are translating The Blue Cord into Chinese and Arabic for a global reach.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

In The Blue Cord's second phase, iHOPE's ministry partners are helping to expand the project's reach and impact through new training and media resources - like videos and an online training portal. Please consider investing in what God is doing here.

Mission

iHOPE Ministries emboldens everyday believers to be authentic witnesses across cultures in daily life.

Needs

GOALS: The Blue Cord Impact Project is part of a multi-year strategy.

PHASE 2: DISCIPLESHIP STUDY MEDIA PROJECT NEED: $5,500 for Video and Portal Development.

Now we are building on momentum with a second women’s conference in 2023 (Goal: 328 women/50% increase). In 2024, we plan to launch an online portal to layer with in-person leader-led Blue Cord Discipleship groups to drive interaction and engagement throughout the 7-week study and beyond. This will expand the project’s reach and impact, while building a foundation for Phase Three’s exponential growth. The online portal will include five short videos and interaction elements. We’ll track how the study changes thoughts and actions for contextual evangelism among “everyday” Believers engaging with international students, immigrant, and refugee communities encountered through daily life.

PHASE 3: GLOBAL IMPACT

Long-term, we’ll capitalize on existing women’s ministry relationships and networks to collaboratively launch Blue Cord’s resources globally, in additional languages. Our collective efforts will contribute to the larger worldwide movement to reach unreached women and their offspring with the gospel of Christ. We believe our efforts will serve as a catalyst in mobilizing women around the world to serve the Church and expand the Kingdom for years to come.
