I Am A Treasure Ministries, Inc. was founded in November 2013 by Sharon Simpson. At the age of fourteen, Sharon was a teenage mother, an experience that has shaped her commitment to supporting women and children in transforming their challenges into a pathway for success and to overcome every barrier in her way. Sharon became a teenage mother at the age of fourteen (14). I Am A Treasure is committed to help women and children turn their obstacles into opportunities. I Am A Treasure Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c) (3) tax-exempt corporation. As a faith-based organization, we prioritize advocating for women's empowerment, provide teaching on the awareness of healthy mental health, and providing women and children with opportunities for self-care, spiritual renewal, and personal growth. I Am A Treasure Ministries provides a safe place of sisterhood who are working together to break the chains of generational strongholds to renew, redirect, rebuild and restore ourselves, our families and communities and to ignite our confidence.
Our mission is to facilitate education, restoration, and revitalization within our community, helping women and children achieve self-sufficiency and realize their full potential. Ultimately, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to pursue their dreams and thrive in every aspect of their lives.
Since April 2013, I Am A Treasure Ministries has been hosting an impactful Women's Empowerment Conference known as The Unveiling Women's Movement in Texas. This highly anticipated event attracts 400 or more women from diverse backgrounds and in walks of life, all seeking to be inspired and empowered and provided practical tools to navigate through life.
I Am A Treasure Ministries offers workshops for education to assist with daily lives in the marketplace and media.
I Am A Treasure Ministries advocates for the mental health, grieving process, and sexual abuse of women, offering them hope and encouragement to soar above their struggles and know that they are not alone.
