Every child belongs in a family.  

No one should have to go through life without the love and support of a family. Unfortunately, many kids in our community and beyond don’t have that opportunity. Through no fault of their own, they are navigating this life and its challenges without the safety and support of their own family. As you’d expect, if these kids don’t find a stable and loving family, they are much more likely to end up homeless, incarcerated, or repeating the cycle.  

That's why hope(local) mobilizes local churches to help vulnerable children find and keep safe, loving families. 

What we do: 
1. Recruit foster and adoptive families.
2. Build support communities around foster and adoptive families.
3. Advocate for kids waiting for adoption.
4. Stabilize vulnerable families at risk of disruption. 

How we do it: 
1. Help churches build ministries that serve vulnerable kids and families. 
2. Resource churches and their families to be successful in ministering to vulnerable kids and families.
3. Recruit more churches to get involved.

We believe local churches are uniquely equipped to accomplish these initiatives. Our best chance of keeping kids out of the system and caring for those already in it is inspiring churches to engage and resourcing them to do it.
