Every child belongs in a family.
Our families give us so much. It’s within our families that we have the best chance of experiencing unconditional love. From within our families, we find the tools and support we need to get through tough times and succeed in this life.
Unfortunately, many kids in our community don’t have that opportunity. Through no fault of their own, they are navigating this life and its challenges without the safety and support of their own family. As you’d expect, if these kids don’t find a stable and loving family, they are much more likely to end up homeless, incarcerated, or repeating the cycle.
That’s why hope(local) is working to recruit great foster and adoptive families, build support communities around those families, and help bio families at risk of disruption.

How we do it (strategy):
*Help churches build ministries that serve vulnerable kids and families.
*Resource churches and their families to be successful in ministering to vulnerable kids and families.
*Recruit more churches to get involved.
We believe the local church is called and uniquely equipped to accomplish these initiatives. Our best chance at keeping kids out of the system and taking care of the ones already in it is inspiring the church to engage and resourcing them to do it.
We have a proven model that is measurably making a difference. Now, it's time to scale our efforts and increase our pace. That's why we are raising funds to make three new full time hires.
Mission: We help vulnerable kids and families through service, advocacy, and support. We accomplish this by recruiting foster and adoptive families, recruiting support for those families, advocating directly for kids waiting to be adopted, and meeting the needs of struggling biological families in our local community.
Vision: We want to make sure every child gets the chance to find success, receive unconditional love, and belong to a family.
We have a proven model that is making a measurable and meaningful difference. Now it's time to add fuel to the fire and scale this model up!
We need to grow our team to increase our impact. Your support will be used to fund our new Family Support Director and more Church Engagement staff.
