Power Snacks is dedicated to elevating student nutrition by offering protein-rich, wholesome snacks to food-challenged students enrolled in the free/reduced lunch program.
 With access to these nutritious snacks all through the school day, we aim to bridge the nutritional gaps in students' diets, fostering enhanced focus, energy, and well-being, while simultaneously diminishing stress and behavioral concerns.Â
Our initiative proudly supports more than 6,000 students each month in Denton, Lewisville and Lake Dallas ISD.
The demand for food assistance within our community continues to grow. Through the Power Snacks initiative, we work to respond to this need, providing indispensable support to students during their school hours. We strive to reach more children in need, as we firmly believe that no child should face hunger.Â
To help those families in need of support, whether it be financially or emotionally, who are experiencing hardships by unforeseen circumstances. Abuse, disabilities, sudden death of a family member, or a cancer diagnosis. These families need help and we want to be able to provide that for them.
