$36,000 Goal

Since the Library's grand opening in The Plaza at Preston Center in January 2013, the Friends of the University Park Public Library have contributed more than $2 million to provide ongoing support of this community asset for lifelong learning. We rely on YOU to help us reach this goal.

Mission

The Friends of the University Park Public Library strives to enhance the mission of the University Park Public Library by raising funds for high-quality materials and services, educational programming and special projects and equipment; hosting community programs and events; and providing trained volunteers.

Needs

The Friends have a few needs beyond the monetary ask of today:

1. Visit the library to see what's new, update your library card and check out a resource.

2. Join the Friends to be part of our support efforts year-round! Friends gain early access to book sales and VIP treatment at some of our special events.

3. Follow us on Instagram @friendsofUPPL

4. Donate gently used books year-round at the Peek Center to supply our Second Chapter Bookstore pop-ups (also, come shop when we pop!)

5. Spread the word to your friends, families and companies about our work.
