About
History
The Friends of Benbrook Library are currently fundraising for $15,000 in order to get new laptops to support youth tech programming at the library! The ones the library currently uses are not powerful enough to keep up with demands of the 3D Modeling program the tweens and teens love, and with new ones the library could potentially host a larger variety of tech programming for our community's youth.

Mission
The Friends of the Benbrook Library is a 501(c)(3) volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Benbrook Public Library District. Through memorial gifts, book sales, and additional fundraising, the Friends promote literacy and enrichment for the Benbrook community.
Needs
Donations to the Friends of Benbrook Library help to fund programming for the community and enhance the resources that our library is able to offer.
Currently we are fundraising for $15,000 in order to get new laptops for our Tween/Teen tech programs!
Equity Statement
Since 1986 the Friends of the Benbrook Library has held the belief that programs and services provided by the Benbrook Library District are for all people. This attitude is reflected in our all inclusive membership. The Friends organization has always maintained an attitude of openness and acceptance to any person desiring to volunteer regardless of circumstance .
