The Friends of the Benbrook Library are the organization that stands behind the very creation of the Benbrook Library! A group of dedicated citizens drove a petition to form a library district that would serve their community. We are proud to represent and support the library. By supporting the Friends, you'll support the Benbrook Library and all the wonderful programs they offer to all the visitors!

Mission

The Friends of the Benbrook Library is a 501(c)(3) totally volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Benbrook Public Library District. Through memberships, memorial gifts, book sales, and additional fundraising, the Friends promote literacy and enrichment's for the Benbrook area.

Equity Statement

Since 1986 the Friends of the Benbrook Library has held the belief that programs and services provided by the Benbrook Library District are for all people. This attitude is reflected in our all inclusive membership. The Friends organization has always maintained an attitude of openness and acceptance to any person desiring to volunteer regardless of circumstance .
