For over 40 years, the Forefront Living Foundation has advanced the mission and supported the goals of each of the members of the Forefront Living family of senior living communities - The Outlook at Windhaven in Plano, Presbyterian Village North in Dallas, St. Joseph Village in Coppell and Bella Vida, a new senior living community in San Antonio welcoming its first residents in September. Our vision has grown and evolved over the years, but the mission to make each moment matter for those we serve remains the same.,
Benevolent Care
Benevolent care embodies Forefront Living’s commitment by supporting residents who have outlived their financial resources through no fault of their own. Donor support helps provide housing, services and care residents need to remain in the community they call home.
Integrated Therapies
Integrated therapies nurture the whole person by supporting their emotional, spiritual and physical well-being. Philanthropic support helps make these services available throughout the Forefront Living community. Programs include music therapy, massage therapy and spiritual care which provide comfort to older adults.
Teammate Assistance and Education
Through scholarships, certifications and professional development opportunities, Forefront Living Foundation invests in the people serving residents and families each day. These opportunities help teammates build their skills, pursue their professional goals and advance their careers.
Community Support
Our mission extends beyond the Forefront Living communities through programs that support older adults and families throughout North Texas. Initiatives such as Helping You Grow Stronger (HUGS) connect family members and caregivers facing dementia or chronic illnesses with HUGS Ambassadors, trained volunteer mentors who offer guidance, a listening ear and regular check-ins.
Coming Soon: Adult Day Stay
Adult Day Stay will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to address a critical gap in respite care for seniors and individuals with neurodegenerative conditions across North Texas. Once open, the program will provide caregiver relief through supervised daytime care, social engagement and health services for adults with disabilities.
Located on the PVN campus, the program will serve up to 40 participants daily. This initiative will help fill a significant service gap in Dallas by giving respite for caregivers while supporting the adults and families who rely on these necessary services.
