$5,000 Goal

We provide service learning and community improvement opportunities to youth in the greater Dallas community.

Some of the greatest advancements in our society have come from young people. Youth have incredible motivation to affect positive change in their communities, but often lack an outlet or the means to accomplish this goal. FLOW not only provides resources to complete these community improvement projects, we empower youth to create their own projects that can have a lasting impact on the environment and themselves.

Founded in 2018, we are determined to improve the environment of our local community and to improve the lives of all those we reach.

Giving Activity

Mission

FLOW seeks to provide opportunities for students to connect to and collaborate with each other and community members. Through hands-on education and volunteer service, they will develop projects that impact them, their community, and the environment.

Needs

FLOW is currently seeking monetary donations to further strengthen our current programs (learn more under the "What We Do" tab above) and to bolster our capabilities to support the creation of new "flows" (aka student-led projects) that originate in the minds of North Texas's bright, passionate young people.

Our primary need, however, is the continued support of the Northaven Prairie Crew. Summer 2023 was the program's first full term, and the progress our students made/knowledge they gained was even more than we could've imagined. With your support, we'd be able to run the program again – ideally for a spring or summer session – and empower even more students to pursue their environmentally-focused passions while giving back to the community at large.
