At FitAbilityTX, we provide clients with access to health and fitness support with a certified personal trainer. This has increased levels of self determination (ability to making choices), self confidence, strength, and flexibility all while being included within a typical fitness setting.
FitAbilityTX needs funding to purchase more specialty equipment for our facility where clients with disabilities such as limited mobility (wheelchairs) can access weight training on equipment that is specifically adapted to their needs.
FitAbilityTX aspires to help the disability community create sustainable fitness habits for long-term optimal health while building confidence and independence.
We are in need of several pieces of workout equipment such as a chest press, lat pulldown and row machines that can be utilized by both ambulatory and wheelchair users. Each one of these machines cost $3-6,000 each.
