$22,000 Goal

Since 2016, FTS has been dedicated to advocating for youth, with a primary focus on preventing homelessness. Our approach begins with addressing food insecurity through various meal distribution projects. Additionally, we collaborate with partners to offer resources to families that may be on the verge of homelessness due to various reasons.

Our goal is to reach out to the youth in these families, providing them with opportunities for community and volunteer experiences. We host intimate youth-related activities, aiming to provide long-term experiences that can significantly alter their perspective and self-determination. By doing so, we strive to empower them to pursue a sustainable lifestyle as they navigate through adulthood.

Our Vision supports our mission whole heartly through these key principles:

  • *Physically Coordinate outreach projects, to strategically impact and introduce knowledge in a creative way

  • *Mentally Educate the individuals we serve to break the poverty mindset in which was as introduced to minority communities since the development of western culture

  • *Financially Provide Aid & Relief to destitute communities on a local level through partnerships and education

  • *Spiritually Address the population that needs additional attention by working with trained mental wellness professionals

Mission

We are Food Restoration Agents utilizing food access to bridge the gap and advocate for the needs of our overlooked communities through open and honest outreach efforts, empowering those we serve.

Needs

Feed the Streetz Outreach (FTS) relies on several key resources to operate its programming effectively:

- Non-perishable food items for community meals and food pantries.

- Hygiene products, including soap, toothpaste, and sanitary supplies.

- Additional space for food storage, meal preparation, and community gatherings.

- Transportation for food delivery, outreach activities, and client services

- Resources for urban agriculture education, including gardening equipment, tools, technical assistance for micro farmers, & instructional guides.

Lastly, financial support is essential for covering operating expenses, program-specific funding, and emergency needs. We also depend on volunteers for food preparation, distribution, event organization, and administrative tasks, with skilled professionals offering educational workshops, mentoring, and job training through partnerships to heighten our cause. Marketing and outreach efforts, including promotional materials, media access, and community engagement tools, are vital for raising awareness and expanding our impact.

Equity Statement

We take responsibility for one another by being the change we wish to see in our communities, using our unique shared backgrounds to provide empathetic wraparound support, education, and resources to underserved and misunderstood populations.
