$0 Goal

We believe in meeting families' needs. When their basic needs such as food and clothing are being met, they are able to move on their more complex needs such as steady employment, education for their children, and a safe place to live. Eastside Ministries provides food, clothing, hygiene items, household goods, family finance classes, and mental health counseling. In 2021 we served 6500 households comprised of over 26,000 individuals. In addition, we have given out more than 5000 sack lunches to homeless folks. The average retail value of the services we provide is over $550 a month per family. All total, Eastside contributed food and clothing valued at more than $3.5 million in 2021. And we do it all on an annual budget of just $233,000.00.

Our Needs

In 2022 we are focused on community engagement and serving more people. In addition to opening five days a week to provide food and clothing, we are moving out into the community one Saturday each month to meet families in their own neighborhoods. When schools let out this year the need for our services has grown by approximately 50 new families each week.  We are working hard to stretch every budget dollar to meet these new demands. We welcome your participation and financial support. We could also use assistance in paying for much needed repairs to our walk-in freezer and refrigerated truck. We hope to offer English as a Second Language classes and your contributions could make this happen. Dreaming big, we would love to purchase a larger facility to serve more people. Anybody have a nice big building that they are not using? We also would welcome additional volunteers with a heart to serve. Thank you for thinking of, praying for and contributing financially to Eastside Ministries, Fort Worth.
