St. Albert the Great Priory & Novitiate is a community of Catholic priests and brothers. While not a parish, the Priory chapel is open to all Catholics in the area for the daily celebration of Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours. In this community, young men live out their first year as a Dominican friar as they discern their vocation as a Dominican priest or brother. Your donations help us form young men into your future priests and brothers. Thank you for your partnership and prayers for this vital mission.
In the last several years we have seen a resurgence of vocations and our most pressing need is to update our chapel to accommodate the growing number of friars. Last year, we were able to renovate the chapel floors and give the walls a facelift. This year, we want to complete the chapel renovation with choir stalls.
Choir stalls will be about $2500 each.
In the footsteps of Saint Dominic and inspired by the charism of Saint Martin de Porres, we friars preachers embrace the mission of Jesus Christ to proclaim the Kingdom of God to a changing world. Animated by our common life and study, we commit ourselves to proclaim God's Word in pulpits and in print, in classrooms and in the media and arts, in the Southern United States and beyond.
