Dodd Education & Support, Inc. was established in 1984 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation to help strengthen and expand the charitable and educational programs of the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
In addition to partnering with the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., we partner with other organizations in the Dallas area to provide clothing for children experiencing homelessness, provide resources for teenage mothers and their babies, financially support efforts to provide food to residents living in food deserts, raise scholarship funds, and provide Christmas gifts for children in need.
Soon, we will launch a signature program for teens living in under-resourced communities in Dallas to teach them about careers, money management, and entrepreneurship.
To provide services and programs that engage, educate and elevate the under-resourced in Dallas communities.
Our outreach programs are supported by grants and donations. Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the Dallas community.
Dodd Education & Support, Inc. seeks to:
- Partner and/or collaborate with Dallas area community based organizations in designated programs and projects.
- Secure funding to implement and support designated service programs and projects.
- Develop programmatic tools for educational training.
- Encourage, support, and provide opportunity for volunteerism of members.
