Dodd Education & Support, Inc. (DES, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening Dallas communities through education, scholarships, community outreach, and strategic partnerships.
Our mission is to engage, educate, and elevate under-resourced individuals and families by connecting them with opportunities and resources that can improve their quality of life.
Education is at the heart of our work. Through our partnership with the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., DES, Inc. supports the Miss Jabberwock Scholarship Pageant, an initiative that has helped award more than $500,000 in scholarships to Dallas-area students pursuing higher education.
Our impact extends beyond scholarships. We collaborate with nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses, and community partners to respond to needs throughout the Dallas community—from providing clothing, coats, meals, and other essentials to supporting programs serving children, youth, and families experiencing challenging circumstances.
At DES, Inc., we believe strong communities are built when people have access to the resources, education, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are working to create opportunities today that can change lives for generations.

Through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations and community-based programs, DES, Inc. is able to extend its reach and respond where support is needed most. - Partner and/or collaborate with Dallas area community based organizations in designated programs and projects.
- Secure funding to implement and support designated service programs and projects.
- Develop programmatic tools for educational training.
- Encourage, support, and provide opportunity for volunteerism of members.
