That's where the DG Fine Arts comes in. This organization provides private music lessons to students in underserved communities, giving them the opportunity to develop their musical skills and talents. By working with local schools and community organizations, this organization identifies students who would benefit from private music lessons and matches them with skilled music teachers who volunteer their time to teach them. The lessons are provided free of charge to the students, and the organization provides the necessary instruments and materials.

DG Fine Arts is a 501(c)3 academic enrichment organization that is dedicated to the research, recording, and preservation of African-American American music and dance genres through culturally relevant resources and experiences for students and teachers in underserved communities.
DG Fine Arts seeks funding to procure instruments and rehearsal space that will enrich the educational experiences of our students engaged in private lessons, performance ensembles, and supplemental music classes.
DG Fine Arts was founded on the principle of providing equitable access to culturally-responsive music and dance resources. Through exposure and education, we foster a safe, inclusive community where student artists are able to thrive regardless of race, sexuality, religion, or gender. We are dedicated to improving equity in music education citywide by offering private and group music lessons at facilities in communities where these students reside at low-cost to them. Cost of service for supplemental music lessons is a barrier to parents and students that prevents our students of color from being fully competitive in the performing arts space. By providing lessons and/or masterclasses at a low cost, we automatically level the playing field for economically disadvantaged students and give them a fair chance at receiving scholarships to prominent college programs, and professional performance ensembles.
