DELIBERATE is focused on finding and distributing quality furniture to refugee families, asylum seekers, and people in crisis in Dallas. This includes local families fleeing from domestic violence. DELIBERATE networks with multiple churches, the IRC, Mosaic Family Services, and other agencies to be able to provide basic needs and furniture to families in Dallas. A former refugee from Iraq shared once that the biggest need refugees face is the need for an American friend. As U.S. born persons, we all have the ability to welcome people and help them understand our neighborhood and culture. Our goal is to help show love to our community and to teach others how to simply love our neighbors.

Our program is free to all families resettling in Dallas who are forcibly displaced from around the globe and here in our own backyards. We currently need funds to operate the delivery truck, pay annual rent for storing and staging collected furniture, and other operating expenses.
