$5,000 Goal

Created in 2020 by Jazmin Kelly, a long-serving animal advocate in Dallas, Daybreak Animal Hospital’s purpose is to create a space known for quality healthcare and compassionate treatment for sick and injured animals. Daybreak aims to serve the animals within our overflowing animal shelters, our overstretched rescue groups, and the underserved members of our society.

By providing low-cost veterinary care, we will ensure that no animal suffers due to a lack of financial resources at any step of the animal healthcare cycle.

Mission

To alleviate the suffering of animals by providing low-cost veterinarian services that support the community, shelters, and animal rescues.

Needs

We are currently seeking support as we search for a location to house our flagship brick-and-mortar.

Equity Statement

At Daybreak Animal Hospital, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging. Only by treating all stakeholders, with respect, dignity, and fairness, are we able to achieve the highest levels of excellence for the animals we serve.

We recognize that every living being is entitled to compassionate care and the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, and we stand firmly against any form of discrimination or prejudice. Our mission to save and heal animals extends to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered.

Through our core values of Passion for Animals, Service, Collaboration, and Excellence, we aim to contribute positively to the broader community, creating equal access to our services, resources, and support. We continually strive to learn, grow, and challenge biases, ensuring that our nonprofit animal hospital is a place where equity is not just a statement, but a fundamental principle guiding everything we do.

By embracing equity, we forge a path toward a more just and inclusive world for animals and people alike. Together, we can create a future where compassion knows no boundaries and every individual is treated with the care and respect they deserve.
