We are a Dallas based 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to the promotion of quality amateur softball of all levels of play for persons of any race, creed, religion, sex or national origin, without prejudice, and with special emphasis placed on the participation of members of the gay community.
Our Goal-provide a sports outlet within the gay community to improve athletic abilities, promote good sportsmanship and encourage members to participate in social, cultural and charitable activities as may serve our community.
Our History -In 1982 a small group of players looking for a safe place to enjoy friendly games and camaraderie established the first season of what would become PSSA. Since, we have grown to over 30 teams and more than 450 players each Spring season.
Our Seasons -Spring: March through July, Fall: September through November
Our National Impact -Hosted NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series: 1988, 2004 & 2014, Hosted NAGAAA Cup (A & B Division invitational tournament): 2011 & 2016
