In a rapidly growing city like Dallas, where opportunities for innovation and change are abundant, our education system must be agile and forward-thinking. The Museum School is uniquely positioned to address both academic and socio-economic challenges in our community. We aim to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow, individuals who can pivot, think creatively, and solve problems in a dynamic global economy. When high-quality education and comprehensive community support converge, the results are nothing short of extraordinary.

At The Museum School of East Dallas, we believe that when our kids thrive, East Dallas thrives. We understand that children cannot be what they cannot see, so we provide a unique educational model that exposes students to varied experiences through immersive learning expeditions that not only build deep content knowledge needed to be a strong reader, writer, and thinker, but also instills in them the confidence to tackle challenges and make meaningful decisions. Our groundbreaking approach blends the accessibility of a public school with the innovation of a museum model, prioritizing smaller environments, extended enrichment programs, and character development, rooted in community. We go beyond traditional schooling by offering comprehensive support services such as healthcare and nutrition to students and caregivers, so that the entire family can function better together. We strive to meet every child's basic needs so they can fully focus on their learning and personal growth.

Students develop a strong sense of self and purpose by deeply engaging with the world around them. In order to set students up for future success, they must know themselves, their interests and strengths, and we must nurture this from a young age. With the rise of AI, opportunities for character development are critical for future employers looking for distinctly human qualities. Imagine a future where your child is not just prepared for one narrow career path but empowered with the tools to navigate any challenge. We envision graduates who can see the big picture, think in systems, and tackle problems confidently while being joyful, well-rounded individuals who are excited about learning and life.

Join us in our mission to create an education system that promotes academic excellence and encourages personal growth and lifelong happiness. Together, we can build a brighter future for East Dallas, ensuring every child has the chance to thrive, grow, and make a meaningful impact on the world. Be a part of this transformative journey at The Museum School of East Dallas, where we prepare the next generation for the future.

Needs

🎨 Support the Arts. Empower a Community. Build a School.

NTxGD Fundraising Goal: $25,000

($10,000 for Summer Camp • $5,000 for Community Supplies & Events • $10,000 for Outreach & Marketing)

The Museum School of East Dallas is a proposed public charter school rooted in the arts, museums, built with and for the community. As we prepare for our launch, we’re not waiting for authorization to start serving our community, we’re doing it now.

This North Texas Giving Day, your gift will directly support three bold initiatives that ensure access, engagement, and momentum continue to grow.

🎒 1. Expand Access to Our Free Summer Museum Camp ($10,000)

Last summer, our free camp filled quickly and now we have over 50+ students on our waitlist for a summer camp. This year, your gift will help us:

Double the number of students served (from 35 to 70+)

Offer hands-on arts and science learning at 5+ Dallas institutions

Provide breakfast, lunch, and supplies at no cost to families

🧡 2. Power Community Engagement Events & Supply Drives ($5,000)

We believe schools should be part of the fabric of the neighborhood. Through free summer events and back-to-school supply drives, we aim to:

Host 3+ arts-centered community events

Provide school supplies to 100+ local families

Build relationships with families in our community

📢 3. Fund Strategic Arts-Based Outreach & Communications ($10,000)

To reach families who may not otherwise hear about us, we’re launching a targeted, multilingual outreach plan including:

Local radio ads, billboards, and flags on streetlights

Stories featured in East Dallas publications and newsletters

A community-driven message campaign to reach 5,000+ households

Why we need your support now:

Although we anticipate public startup funds, these resources are often delayed or distributed in phases. Your gift helps ensure we don’t have to pause critical work while waiting, and instead, we can build on our momentum to serve families now.

Be part of something beautiful in East Dallas.

Your contribution helps us build a future where art and education go hand-in-hand, from the very beginning.
