Cindy Ramsey Center
The Cindy Ramsey Center is an IRS approved 501c3 charity located in Fort Worth that serves as a non profit community hub dedicated to serving neighbors in need with dignity and compassion. Named in honor of Cynthia “Cindy” Hawkins Ramsey, whose legacy of generosity continues through its mission, the Cindy Ramsey Center provides vital resources such as food assistance through its indoor and mobile markets, crisis support, financial literacy training, partnered homeless services and home repair services. Guided by the values of doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly with God, the Cindy Ramsey Center impacts thousands of families each year, made possible through the commitment of dedicated staff, volunteers and community partners.
56, 466 unduplicated individuals have benefited from the CRC's food assistance programs year-to-date.
Vision
From the beginning, the CRC has grown out of a simple desire: to help hurting people. Cindy championed that value throughout our ministry’s history, and after her passing, renaming the Help Out Center in her honor was both fitting and inspiring. What began as a food pantry has grown into the doorway of a broader vision—one that seeks to meet people where they are and walk with them toward hope, healing, and independence.
That vision includes not only food assistance, but also mental health support, substance abuse referrals, housing assessments, medical and dental resources, financial education, childcare, GED programs, and other essential services. We are still in the early stages of what promises to be one of the most impactful and dynamic charities in Tarrant County.
