For over 30 years, the Celebrating Life Foundation has been a vital voice in the fight against breast cancer, especially within African American and underserved communities where the mortality rate is significantly higher. Too many women and men delay screenings, face financial hardships during treatment, and lack the resources for recovery and survivorship.

The Celebrating Life Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to making breast cancer powerless by educating, encouraging and empowering those most impacted by the disease.
For over 30 years, the Celebrating Life Foundation has been committed to educating, empowering, and supporting medically underserved communities—particularly African American women—through breast cancer awareness, early detection, and survivor support.
This North Texas Giving Day, we are asking for your help to meet the growing needs of breast cancer patients and survivors in our community.
Our Key Needs:
1. Support for the Pink Spoon Project
Help us provide meals, utility assistance, and transportation to women undergoing chemotherapy and radiation who are often forced to choose between treatment and basic necessities.
• $ $25 -50 provides a meal for a survivor
• $100 helps with transportation for a survivor during treatment
• $250 - $1,000 help covers utility and rental assistance for a household in crisis
• $250 - $500 helps provide holiday gifts for the children of a single mom during the holiday season.
2. Reclaim Your Beauty Program
Support self-care workshops and confidence-building experiences for women facing the physical and emotional toll of breast cancer.
• $30 - $150 sponsors a beauty bag for a survivor
• $250 funds a seat at a self-care workshop
The Celebrating Life Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to making cancer powerless by educating the African American community and women of color about the risk of breast cancer, to encouraging advancements in the early detection and treatment, and to improving survival rates among these women.
