Boys & Girls Clubs of Cooke County

With the support of our donors, the Boys & Girls Club of Cooke County is able to provide a safe place for upwards of 2,500 youth during our After School Program, Summer Program, and Sports Leagues. We provide the youth of Cooke County with quality programming, such as STEM Education, daily homework help, Literacy Program, fine arts, sports and recreation, and good character and leadership. With the continued support of our donors, we are able to improve and create new programs and initiatives. We are currently working to improve our STEM program, with daily hands on STEM challenges.

Our Needs

Our biggest need is financial support. With safety guidelines we are following meticulously and changes made in schools, we have not been able to serve as many children. In a typical summer, we serve close to 350 youth, and in the 2020 summer we were only able to serve a maximum of 100 youth. This is effecting our revue, which was already small as a non-profit. Due to COVID-19, we have also had to postpone our annual Gala, our largest fundraiser, until November.

Mission

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Needs

Monitary support to keep our fees low for our families
