Bold Believers United Ministries is a movement to AWAKEN, EQUIP & ACTIVATE Believers to boldly impact the world through uncompromised truth, love, power and unity. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2015 in Dallas TX, by Minister April Bowman, M.S.

Bold Believers United (BBU) provides leadership development programs, mentorship and events for youth, young adults, women and families. Supporting BBU allows the ministry to provide programs and services at minimal to no cost for our participants in which 98% come from low-income households.

Starting this October, Bold Believers United will be offering year-round programming for our signature C4: Christian, Character, College and Career Program. BBU will host C4 as an After-school program for middle and high school youth at a South Dallas community center twice a week. Alternatively, young people across DFW ages 12-24 can participate in our series of C4 workshops, events, and mentorship opportunities hosted bi-monthly at a local community college campus. C4 is a transformative experience designed to equip young people with the tools and resources including relationships they need to succeed in life. Established in 2017, C4 fosters strong partnerships between youth, families, and communities. Through a comprehensive curriculum addressing self-esteem, health and wellness, college and career exploration, leadership, faith, and character development, the program cultivates resilient, confident, BOLD Youth and Young Adults who are prepared to make a positive impact in their own lives and the world.

Bold Believers United will also host our annual TRANSFORMed YOU Conference, a 2-day Christian Faith, Mental Health & Wellness experience for youth and young adults across DFW. Additionally, our Love Encounter: Sunday Service will also take place again in Seattle WA, cultivating an environment where individuals of all ages and families can have a true encounter with Jesus that renews, revives and reconnects us to God, ourselves, our purpose and one another.

Bold Believers United will also host a BOLD 10yr Celebration in honor of all God calling Minister April to create BBU in May of 2015. And 10 years of God's faithfulness in carrying us through it all.

Lastly, Bold Believers United is now selling faith-based merchandise, our BOLD Merc with a Mission. Every purchase made directly supports the mission of BBU and furthers our reach. Check us out!

We Need YOU!

Bold Believers United is seeking financial support for the following priorities:

-C4: Christian, Character, College & Career Program: Both our weekly after school C4 program and bi-monthly workshops. Your monetary gift allows us to provide our year round programs, curriculum, snacks and materials at no cost to the young people or their families.

-Bold Missions: BBU is a global ministry with a mandate to impact the world for Jesus. Your monetary gift allows us to cover costs for our missionary work like our upcoming second annual Love Encounter: Sunday Service in Seattle WA. Supporting the spreading of the gospel through evangelism, preaching and community outreach by covering costs of airfare, lodging, and venue rentals for events.

-Building a BOLD Team: Through expanding our team as our programming expands. Majority of BBU’s work has been volunteer run over the years. While we will continue to leverage the various gifts of volunteers, in order to successfully carry out this next phase of our work that includes weekly programming, our need for dedicated staff is urgent. We are seeking to contract a Program Coordinator, Operations Manager and Development Specialist to support our growing initiatives. Your monetary contribution will enable us to hire qualified staff to sustainably further our reach.

Please consider generously donating to Bold Believers United Ministries today and help us to do all that God has BOLDLY called us to do!

Mission

Bold Believers United is a movement to ignite people everywhere to accept, experience, and live in an unrestricted relationship with God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as well as one another. Our vision is to awaken, equip, and activate Believers to boldly impact the world through uncompromised truth, love, power, and unity. We are committed to a nondiscriminatory approach and provide equal opportunity for participation in all of our programs. We see diversity and equity as connected to our mission and critical to the communities we serve. We seek to assess inequities internally and externally and develop actionable steps to uproot them.
