The Anna Education Foundation (AEF) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance and invest in educational excellence in the Anna Independent School District. The foundation accepts donations to promote the academic achievement of all AISD students. Contributions to the AEF are exempt from federal income tax under section 170c of the Internal Revenue Code.AEF programs include:
- Grants to school campuses and teachers for classroom programming;
- District-wide grants to support and expand the school district's goals and curriculum;
- Management of specific endowments for scholarships and grants;
These activities are made possible through generous donations from corporate partners, parents, AISD employees, private grants, and community organizations.
