Meetings are currently held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Allen Depot (100 East Main Street in Allen).
The Allen Heritage Museum’s mission is to acquire, protect, and preserve the unique physical and cultural history which reflects the city of Allen. Additionally, to research, exhibit, promote and publicize the rich historical and cultural heritage of the city for the benefit of residents and visitors.
“preserving and promoting Allen’s heritage and spirit…”
We need your help to bring Allen History to the citizens of Allen. Your support can be by volunteering for our events, joining our Guild and sharing your love of history, or donating funds so we can continue expanding the education programs and information signage at both the Train Depot Museum and Heritage Village.
Future projects include the development of expanded educational programs featuring aspects of Allen history to use for tours of the Allen Heritage Village and Allen Train Depot Museum.
We believe that all individuals are welcome to our meetings to learn about Allen History, participate in sharing the knowledge through the Allen Heritage Train Museum and Allen Heritage Village, and provide input to achieving our mission.
